Allie Jeter would not be denied at the plate when runners were on base on Friday, driving in five on two hits to lead Crowley Eagles past Troy 10-6 on Friday. Jeter drove in runs on a triple in the second and a home run in the fourth.
Crowley Eagles earned the victory despite allowing Troy to score five runs in the third inning. Troy’s big inning was driven by singles by #22 and #47, a groundout by #9, by #1, and an error on a ball put in play by #18.
Troy got things started in the first inning when #6 singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.
